Description

HOMIES (My Homunculi) is an experimental video game played with custom mask controllers. The game consists of 3 levels, each controlled by different masks with unique physical input. Each level is a simple score-based mini game requiring the player to follow commands from an inner voice (the homunculus!)

History

ALT.CTRL.GDC '15 Submission

HOMIES is currently still in early development. The first mask (nose picking robot) and its level (memory game) have been brought up to a fully functional proof-of-concept level to demonstrate where everything is heading. The two additional levels and masks will match, or exceed, the current state of these materials.

If selected for ALT.CTRL.GDC '15

By March, HOMIES will consist of 3 levels and 3 masks. Current plans include a hairy werewolf mask which requires a player to howl as input, and a Black Lagoon-esque teenage monster mask with pimple buttons.
